The Healing Winds Visitor Education Center will provide guests with an interactive experience to immerse them in the world of wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. Exhibits include the “Be the Vet” and “Daily Care,” in which participants can diagnose patients and identify appropriate treatment options, along with educational displays that walk visitors through the rescue, treatment, rehabilitation and release of CROW patients, and “Patient Cams” that provide a view of day-to-day rehabilitation activities.
The center also features a gift shop as well as models, radiographs, videos and photos of hospital patients. CROW is also opening a new, upgraded 4,800-square-foot hospital.
